GUIDE

How to Reconstitute Peptides

1

Prepare

Clean the vial stopper and BAC water vial with an alcohol swab. Allow to dry. Work on a clean surface.

2

Draw Water

Using an insulin syringe, draw your calculated volume of bacteriostatic water. Remove air bubbles by flicking the syringe.

3

Add to Vial

Insert the needle through the stopper at an angle. Let the water slide down the inside wall of the vial. Do not spray directly onto the powder.

4

Dissolve

Gently swirl the vial in circular motions until the powder is fully dissolved. Do not shake — this can damage the peptide structure.

5

Store

Reconstituted peptides should be stored at 2-8°C (refrigerator). Use within 30 days. Do not freeze once reconstituted.

Storage Guidelines

  • Lyophilized (unreconstituted): -20°C for up to 24 months
  • Reconstituted: 2-8°C, use within 30 days
  • Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
  • Protect from direct light
  • Always use bacteriostatic water (not sterile water) for multi-dose vials
